This is a surprisingly simple and inexpensive device that makes print materials much easier to access for the visually impaired. The problem for the visually impaired is that it can be difficult for them to align text in the camera's field of view and ensure it is perfectly focused and spaced correctly. This box puts the seal in just the right place. Adding a small lamp (I used an OTT lite Cobra table lamp) gives you almost good lighting as the white interior of the box helps to balance the lighting. People can take a picture with their iPhone or iPad and use screen mirroring on Apple TV and project the image onto a big TV screen to enlarge it. It also works very well with Microsoft's Seeing AI app, which is free for Apple users, to convert content to speech. I will recommend this to my patients with poor eyesight.
