The product corresponds to the description. I'm new to knitting. The smoothness of these needles makes yarn slip easily, which isn't great for beginners. But that's not a bad user error for a product. ***** I think I should add if you are sensitive to noise this will not work for you. Each time the needles come together they ring and can deliver a very powerful hit. The nails on the board make a sound when pulled against each other. As I said, I am a beginner and perhaps more practice and use will help me become more efficient with them where noise is not a problem and yarn slippage is a bonus. We'll see, but I would recommend them to non-beginners.
