This item was purchased last November. The plastic parts broke last week. Now the corkscrew is useless. It's cheaper to buy a new one than to look for replacement parts. I am so disappointed. My husband and I regularly enjoy a glass of wine with dinner and are no strangers to lever-operated corkscrews; The one we had before was a few years old (can't remember the brand) so I had no hesitation in ordering a new one, assuming the quality would be the same. I hope my review will save others from making the same mistake. Today I'm ordering a new corkscrew from Revain (another brand) and waiting with fingers crossed.
