WORKS GREAT - IF YOU ARE NOT SURE, DO NOT GIVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK.

I think it works GREAT. I saw some reviews saying it didn't stick and admittedly didn't want to at first. Here are the facts. I had new (low pile) carpet installed less than a week ago. This movie came out fast. I installed this in the key areas I wanted. This film IS APPLIED to the carpet and WORKS as intended. WORKED VERY WELL. I can pull it out when I want and there is no residue or other over-taping issues like some of the complaints I've read about films sold by other manufacturers. If necessary, it can be removed completely. INSTALLATION: As with all these films, it takes some practice at first. I laid down a 4-6 inch strip to initialize it so it would stick enough to pull/unwind the roll onto the carpet. I started with it and had no problems. Yes, these slides will stick together (sticky side to sticky side) if you accidentally fold them over each other at the edges or elsewhere. I did it once and all I had to do was trim that part. I've misplaced it a bit and it stands out against the carpet and allows me to reposition it. I can safely say that there have been NO negative complaints about it not sticking to the carpet. I think the ONLY problem with all of these films is the application technique. Once you get it right.... perfect. If I need more I would buy it again - YES.

Pros
  • MADE IN AMERICA: This temporary plastic carpet protector is made in the USA from 100% American-made materials for guaranteed quality. While many brands source their products and materials from other countries for quick savings, we strive to go the extra mile to provide 200 feet of high quality carpet protection film. Not only does this boost the American economy, but it is also much more environmentally friendly than shipping materials and products from other countries.
Cons
  • Not bad but...
