Wish it was a little easier to install. You need to assemble and disassemble the diagonal brace to attach and detach it. The bottom of the strut connects under the hinge and the mirror slides into the top so the strut must be detached from the mirror or it won't go any further. If you need a quick installation, you can mount it in seconds without a strut, but the strut reduces vibration significantly. These mirrors seem strong and durable. I've been using it for about a month to top it off, good weather. Looks great on a TJ Jeep.
