Review on Washable Mopping IRobot Reusable Sweeping by Felicia Arnold

Revainrating 4 out of 5

iRobot Braava reusable and easy to clean wet cleaning pad

I hate disposable cleaners and consumables. I think they are bad for the environment and bad for my budget. So I tried different washable and reusable wet mopping pads for Moppy, our robot mopping iRobot Braava 240. This is the second reusable pad I tried. Overall, I like this mopping pad better than the first. The last pad cleaned our floors well, but it was a hassle to clean because it was sewn onto a plastic card that fits onto the Braava's "leg". I simply take out the pad, separate it from the velcro-like backing and wash my hands in the sink with just water to clean it, wring it out and stick it back onto the card ready for another cleaning can. run. When the floors are done for the day, I put some dish soap on the pad to clean it more thoroughly and then hang it out to dry. The floors on the ground floor are vacuumed about three times a week (we have self-cleaning). Shark robot vacuums) and wipe down weekly, and those mopping pads seem to last two or three months before the edges start to fray and it's time to replace them. We no longer have kids at home and we are between dogs so we can only use water with them to keep the floors clean and barefoot comfortable. I bought three packs to try and will buy another set when they wear out. Pros: * The mop head detaches from the attachment card, making it easy to clean. * Washes floors well enough using only water. * Less waste and cost than disposable pads. Cons: * Slightly smaller than the official iRobot pads.
