Apparently in 2005 there was a design change in the way the ABS wheel speed indicator signal is generated. BEFORE I changed the hub I thought the fault was in the plug as I figured the aftermarket might have used the wrong plug. I just adjusted the connector so that both front wheel sensors would trigger a fault in the ABS system. I called Timken tech support, they told me the difference, luckily both year models use the same hub/bearing assembly. and all i had to do was replace the old hub speed sensor with the new hub. Not a difficult task, but I had to take both wheel assemblies AGAIN apart to gain access to the speed sensor which is located in the rear of the brake disc housing.
