The timer itself is great. Works well, easy to set up. I like that the bells are different for each timer too. Unfortunately, the magnets that hold the timer to your fridge or microwave are held in place with a thin, cheap foam pad, not glue. I've read other reviews of falling magnets but ignored them until our timer fell on the kitchen floor after about a month of use. Luckily it didn't break. do yourself a favor When you get this, use a thin screwdriver or awl to pry the magnets off the back of the device (it doesn't take long - such a bad 'glue'!). Completely remove the self-adhesive foam padding from the magnet. Then use super glue or another strong glue and attach the neodymium magnets directly to the back of the timer. If you leave the styrofoam pads on, they will detach from the back of the device and you risk damaging the timer. The magnet strength itself is fine, but the adhesive disk is cheap, cheap, cheap. Use real glue and the magnets should stay in place for the life of the device.
