Some YouTube videos don't match the quality of this lock. The buttons are great, impossible to feel or see the difference to open the lock or get inside the touchpad. The keyhole is easy to fill with putty and can only be used with buttons. But the lock could not be picked or forced through the keyhole, which is easy for thieves to do with all standard keyed locks these days. Inside the parts are brittle and may not last 20 years due to wear and tear but this is not known now, I have only used locks for more than 6 weeks. They are VERY comfortable, weather protected but suitable for outdoor use. It's a bolt so the bolt goes in much deeper than a regular bolt and it takes some work. I used a dremel, works smooth and easy. Maybe not for the person who isn't great with tools, but for the typical handy person it's perfect. The manual is ok but there is a video on youtube showing how to install it and I found it helpful. The first lock took an hour total and the second maybe 7 minutes to install. As you can see, it's quite large, but I attached one to the top lock on the security door. I was going to put a tree under it but it's so strong I decided against it, just a lock. I am sure that in the event of a break-in, the lock will be damaged so badly that it cannot be opened. How to thwart the thief.
