Review on πŸ’Š N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine (NALT) Powder - Tyrosine Supplement - Amino Acid (100g - 3.5oz) by BulkSupplements.com by Christina Stanley

Revainrating 2 out of 5

DO NOT BREAK DUST! Inferior to L-Tyrosine (for me) and in studies

I tried NALT after drinking a bottle of straight L-Tyrosine. NALT was about 10-25% more effective than pure L-tyrosine for concentration. I later found a study that showed that about 56% of all NALT is eliminated from the body fully intact (not converted to tyrosine/dopamine). The study confirmed what I felt while taking NALT. Obviously, you can take large doses and get some benefit. Some people write that they feel great, but definitely not for me. About 3g of regular L-Tyrosine should be good for most people for nootropic/focus purposes. Pros: - May work for some people - Slight increase in concentration Cons: - Statistically worse than L-Tyrosine in concentration - Tastes gross. Slightly better than creatine. Ethyl Ether (another well-researched and effective form that has been chemically modified to be more absorbable) - Whatever you do, DO NOT accidentally inhale the dust. Even after dousing the shaker with water, the dust remaining in it made me cough and burn my lungs for a moment. Like bad ammonium salts - expensive. Save money and buy L-Tyrosine. Or don't listen to me, buy both and see what you like best.

Pros
  • Vitamins, minerals and supplements
Cons
  • Not effective
