I bought 3 additional trays to see if it would help thousands upon thousands of negatives. At first it seemed like the problem was aligning the original negative with the little upward-pointing notches that one half of the tray has. But once I had the left side of the tray focused on the negative film with the first notch, I held the left side of the negative in the notch and then followed the rest of the negative to the notches with my right hand. It's really easy if you follow these initial instructions. Once you've made a few it becomes pretty easy. With 3 of them at the same time I can easily finish 12 photos/negatives. It's worth it and I'm considering buying 3 more but I'm almost done with my stack of negatives.
