This review is for Monoprice Rapid UV Black only. I struggled with this resin for several days, trying to print several different models. I have tried many different exposure times, from low exposure times of 25 seconds to over a minute and other coat times from 5 to 9. The resin cures gently and does not stick to the build plate. Most models will eventually fall off the build plate and end up leaving a mass in the tank as shown in the photos. The only model that really caught on was the small demo ring that came with the printer. And even that came loose at the edges and slid off the plate almost effortlessly. something else. Maybe this is a bad batch. I've had great success with Rapid Gray. I only have problems with black. I've exchanged several emails with Monoprice support, but none of the suggestions worked. The support team responded to requests very quickly. My rating has been upgraded from 1* to 3*. Finally I was able to print it and the results are good. The smaller models (15 mm) are printed with 75 second base layers and 7 second top layers. Larger models (40mm) need more time. I had good results in the 300s and bad results in the 90s. Finally, Monoprice support recommended 25 second base shifts with 5 seconds after. This worked on the smaller models, although the edges of the base were loose and slightly wavy. Larger models do not adhere to this setting.
