The plastic base has two magnets that attach to a steel plate. Why? Stability and weight I think. The magnets are glued with cheap glue and one fell out immediately. I had to glue it with a glue gun. The edges of the steel plate are unpolished and very sharp. Everything is very free. The middle plastic brackets on the hub do not hold the cylindrical aluminum struts in place, so the built-in parts can sag. I had to drill holes and use 3mm nuts and bolts to attach them securely. Wires freely penetrate plastic clamps and plastic pliers and fall out at the slightest jerk.
