Kitchen Essentials - No Mess, No Frills - Great Food

Love this! It has a permanent place on my counter as I use it so often. My only "complaint" is that it needs to be made hotter than intended. He makes great steaks, great chicken, light fish and delicious veggies. My husband loves canned potatoes. I toss them in melted butter with salt and pepper and fry over high heat until flecks are golden and potatoes are hot. Never stop enjoying! Housekeeping is amazing. I didn't dare to go in the dishwasher. I just use soap, hot water and a brush and it cleans like new. The element and the outer areas only need a damp cloth. I have a small stain in an area under the pan due to sticky tomato-based barbecue sauce. If I cleaned it after cooling, maybe it wouldn't get dirty. (I left it until the next day. Even then it all cleared up with a little discoloration from the sauce.) DO NOT add as much water as they recommend. I only use one cup to cover the bottom of the tray. Too much water and difficult to get out without spilling. The fan really eliminates odors. I fished and somehow the smell was contained. I like the glass lid although the handle can get hot so be careful. I wish the grill was a little deeper as the lid wouldn't close when I was cooking the ribs. No problem, but more space would be nice. I cooked the ribs in a pressure cooker and then made the sauce on the grill. Delicious! The best ribs! We live in Arizona and it gets hot and windy here. Frying outside was too cumbersome. This fantastic grill allows me to enjoy the flavor without enduring the weather. Now you can grill a lot more things!
