This is almost a perfect POS stand. Pros: 1) The base is wide and weighted to prevent tipping. smooth-running, almost like ball bearings. 3) Strong but easily adjustable tilt. 4) Very fair price considering the best options are in the $100+ range. Cons: 1) The side arms are spring loaded which is nice as this usually means they will fit an iPad mini but probably won't fit an iPad mini 4 when fully extended. Which in my situation means I can't put a case on my iPad mini 4. I spent $600 on this iPad after adding AppleCare and Cellular remote charging card features with Square at trade shows. Our employees will be traveling and moving around with it, and I want them to be able to easily remove it from the stand so they don't have the iPad available for theft if they move. It may happen that one of our employees falls and damages the iPad. That's why I want an iPad case even with a stand to hold it. If this thing could stretch an inch more, it would fit perfectly into most iPad cases. I really don't want to stick a bare iPad in this thing. I know it wasn't designed to work with cases, but it would be so easy for them to do it with a little more reach.
