QUICK TIP Wi-Fi wise, it didn't work for me and I'm not sure if regular internet has ever worked since I don't know, my laptop doesn't have an ethernet port. I had to return it. WHAT I WANT I feel like I throw away money along with my Spectrum bill every month for no reason as they charge me for the wireless signal used by this combo. The gear has worked great for me since I got it so I decided to look to Revain for the same one to replace with what I had and not throw money away every month. For the price I got it for, it will pay for itself in less than a year. HOW IT LOOKES WHEN I HAVE RECEIVED. ITI inspected it on arrival and appeared to be in good condition, minor cosmetic scratches on front with indicator. headlights, but it looked good. It was wrapped in a little bubble wrap but other than that the packaging was minimal. DID IT WORK? I hooked everything up and immediately called Spectrum to activate my gear. They did and they said it showed they were online at their end. I didn't have wifi on my end (my laptop doesn't have an ethernet port so I couldn't try to verify that at least the wired internet was working). Then I tried calling the service number that was on the note. in the box for my order as they said they offer the best support and would help you get started. Nobody answered and I left a voice message. The document states that all calls are answered within 24 hours. You never called me back. As I work from home I waited a few hours after leaving a message and then called Spectrum back to ask them to reactivate my hardware. FINAL ADJUSTMENT I'll never know if it was the hardware itself, a software issue that maybe my ISP is using to prevent these things from working, or just bad luck, but either way it didn't work for me that way, as I had hoped I had to return it. At least Revain makes it easy to give those things back.
