After shopping and reading the reviews I decided on this appliance. So far very satisfied. The construction took about an hour. Damn it took 15 minutes to unbox, packaged very nicely. Took some advice from other reviewers when setting it up. I didn't use a medium-sized long Phillips screwdriver. Once you've made the legs, take a look at them and make sure you place the ones holding the door in the right places. I installed all the parts as suggested then went back and tightened all the screws. I took a sieve and shook off the lava rock. Not much dust, less than 5 small pieces fell out. When I put the stone in the middle, there are very few small pieces. The lighter ignited the fire. The second time I used it, I just took a long-handled lighter and lit it. They held back the gas and put out the flames. After turning it on for 30 minutes, I felt under the firebox and it seemed like nothing was heating up. So it shouldn't be a problem, I've read of other mines where the heat from the firebox actually melted some of the lines. Maybe I'll switch to fire glass later, I'm satisfied with lava stone for now. I'll pull out one of the adjustable legs and replace it with wheels next time I go to the hardware store. I'll post a photo of it later. It should be easy to remove the stand and take it with you. Very happy with this purchase. Comes with a small key, used my own 1/2 key, worked better. No problem putting them on. After I mounted all the wheels, I drove the pit in circles without any problems. My deck is slate so it's not smooth. Either way, don't plan on moving it that much, but getting it out of the way is fine. It also moves very slowly so as not to weigh down the wheels as they are plastic. Very satisfied.
