I bought to seal face masks. We have KN-95 masks, I have a rather long nose. Consequently, most masks do not seal the transition between the cheek and nose. That means I breathe unfiltered air. I cut a 3/8" to 1/2" long piece and attached it to the inside of the mask so it was centered in the nose to cheek gap. The foam is very soft and forms well. The foam also does not irritate the skin. I recommend for this application! I can also use a surgical mask for another flat expandable mask. Place the foam in the same place where the cheek and nose meet.
