Let's get down to business

I've looked at a lot of reviews. As always, I go through the 1 star reviews and read most of them. Some of the main complaints were hesitation, poor suction, lack of an adapter for a shop vacuum, and a sense of shock when using the tool. First of all I love this tool. You can't beat the price. So let's get down to business.1. Hesitate. Hesitation doesn't mean the manufacturer messed up or that the product is a bad one. It may have been damaged in transit. Always inspect your orders for defects upon receipt and ship them back to Revain free of charge if there are return or replacement issues. If you receive another unit with the same issue, contact Revain or the carrier and file a complaint. Revain doesn't typically ship junk, so the carrier is more likely to ruin your product than either Revain or the manufacturer. Poor suction power. If suction is poor, it's the vacuum's fault, not necessarily that the tool or grit used is too large or the drywall is still wet. Make sure you use a sufficiently large vacuum cleaner with a suitable dust bag. If not, then this is most likely your problem. There is no adapter for a shop vacuum cleaner. There are adapters, but you have to look for them. I found a 3 piece set of Ridgid VT1755 adapters at a home store and you can get them working with a tool hose and a vacuum without much fuss and most importantly no glue or tape. The fit is tight, which is good. Finally, there is the problem of shock. The shock problem occurs for several reasons. If your vacuum doesn't have a ground pin on the cord, the circuit you're plugged into isn't grounded, or there's just a lot of static electricity caused by local conditions and the fact that you're using mostly plastic in your vacuum Tool. At first I had a few bumps but then I switched vacuums and it was all gone as the weather conditions were different and the next job had a better electrician. If necessary, put on rubber gloves and continue. This is a great product. Of course it can be improved, but what can not.
