I've spent a lot of time getting this to work. It spins up and the computer recognizes it, but the drive doesn't read the media. I later tried a second installation and encountered the same problem. The "Eject" button on the front panel looks very superficial as it doesn't touch anything inside and doesn't work. I had to disassemble the drive to remove the disc. Like the previous reviewer, I spent quite a bit of time looking for a good thin drive solution for my case and hoping this would fix the problem - could it be fake? Reads the HL CA30N/P data warehouse model. Not recommended.
