I have more expensive Swiss made chisels that do the job well, but I use these chisels a lot more often. They hold an edge and do not need to be treated like delicate precision parts. Instead of tapping the end of the handle with your hand, you can hit it with a hammer and they'll keep coming back. I am a trained carpenter. My son recently decided to become a carpenter too! When I opened my shop, I recommended one of the first tool sets to him. Highly recommended!
