I can't believe how much these water filters cost! It reminds me of printers who take our replacement ink cartridges. The manufacturer recommends replacing the water filter every six months. I've been keeping mine a lot longer as I'm trying to stretch the marginal cost of replacing these filters every 6 months. I decided to try this brand and see if they work well. If I remove that replacement, I plan to halve that and the brand name and look at the filter content to see if they make a difference. But right now my decision to ditch OEM or big name water filters comes down to cost. This deal comes with two, so next year I'll be good for a fraction of the cost of a name brand water filter. Outwardly, they look the same, and it is very easy to swap them out. I believe you have a larger glass than what I show in my video when you first run water through a new one to fill it just in case water gets into your line causing the water to leak flows more intensively during the first use after changing the filter. Outside. The water doesn't taste any different with this filter, so that's a good sign. I had a friend tell me they were out of control and the water tasted like pool water. The water pressure in the dispenser is the same. So far everything looks great. I will update this review in 6 months and let you know what I found in this filter when I cut it in half.
