Review on 🔧 Black SLIK Clamp Head 38 (Model 618-020) by Dawn Kemp

I teach portrait photography at PortraNET.com My students want to see my sessions , so I bought one of these to mount the second (Canon 5D MKII) on a tripod because my Canon 1D MKII is on top and used as a portrait camera. Now I can mount a wide angle lens on the second camera and leave a video of the whole session! ROBUST, sure, BUT the size of the pipe that can be run is somewhat limited. My legs on a professional tripod were too fat to mount this device. I had to attach it to the center post. This limits my vertical setup of my main camera. WORKS for me but disappointing that it doesn't fit the very popular Bogen tripod leg. Suitable for lower outdoor portable tripods. But people who own and use them probably don't need a second camera mount.
