I bought this drain tube to change the oil on a Honda GC290 engine. In general, the drain hose is of very good quality and does not leak when connected to the engine. When draining the oil, loosen the screw at the end of the drain tube with your fingers and the oil will begin to drain from the engine. Make sure you have an oil container and the drain pipe will get hot when the oil is hot. When finished, hand tighten the screw at the end of the drain hose. Just be careful not to lose the screw. In my photo I installed the motor on the wrong side. It still drains oil, but I have to hold the drain tube when I press the pressure washer to keep it from rubbing against the wheel. Overall, this drain tube makes changing the oil easy and relatively hassle-free. I would suggest that you install a drain tube when the pressure washer is brand new and there is no oil in the engine, or after an oil change. I highly recommend.
