My husband finally decided to buy a GPS. After reading the reviews and trying a few at Best Buy, I settled on the Garmin Nuvi 255. I wanted ease of use with no frills, and the Nuvi 255 fits the bill perfectly. We were leaving town to visit relatives the day we received our purchase, so I opened the box and snapped the lid shut. mount, plugged into an outlet in the car and attached to the windshield with the included suction cup mount. The nüvi 255 quickly found a satellite signal, so I entered the address we were headed to and tapped GO. The directions were accurate and the volume was loud enough to be easily heard over radio noise. We quickly deviated from Nuvi's route, but that wasn't a problem. He quickly calculated the route using the one we preferred. Travel time calculations were also very accurate. With lifetime map updates included, this really is a great deal!
