Review on 🐠 Aqueon Forge 20x10-inch Aquarium Stand by Elton Luo

Be careful not to hit the tank

Took about ten minutes to assemble, no tools required until you need a screwdriver to add decorative squares. I did not mount the hanging plate. With a full 10 gallon tank on top, the stand is rock solid and doesn't wobble at all. The stand was perfect for my 10 gallon Aqueon tank on top. There is no need to put wood on top of the metal rim. My biggest complaint is that there's nothing to stop the tank itself from unsettlingly sliding when you hit it. If I had young children I would probably choose a different stand that has room around the edges as the tank shifts. That's why I'm deducting a star for "strength". I liked it so much that I bought the same sized stand for the Aqueon 20 Long tank which holds 20 long on top and 10 on bottom. There's a piece on the bottom shelf. made of wood they fit into a metal rim, like a hanging valve, you can choose between light wood color or black sides. It seems to fit perfectly for a 5.5 gallon aqueon measuring about 16" x 8". I am planning to buy one as a hospital/emergency tank to put on this shelf. I don't know if wood is waterproof. Other reviewers have said that this stand does not fit other brands of tanks, so be sure to research this before purchasing.
