Although my car has had built in navigation for many years, I bought this unit to use when traveling out of town with a rental car. I was amazed by its ease of use and complexity for a device that costs a fraction of the cost of factory installed devices. The system is intuitive, the screen easy to read and precise. Unlike my in-built system, this system constantly displays your current speed and I have relied on the navigation system's speedometer rather than my car's. It's come down from the cradle to really get your hands on the controls for quickly entering addresses. This prevents complex functions from being performed while the vehicle is in motion. Nice feature. I have no problems at all and see no reason to spend more.
