I'll give a comparison for those who have also looked at earlier devices, especially 7x0 models. 2x5 devices have a faster processor, and routing and menus are noticeably faster. The display is cleaner too, showing miles per hour on the main screen. Compared to the relatively mature 760, it's MUCH more stable, probably due to fewer (useless) features. I am very happy with the Garmin 205W. It is very easy to use as Garmin offers one of the best user interfaces on the market. The screen is a good size and bright. I never had to wait more than 10-15 seconds for satellites to be found. Redraws (updates) frequently and quickly.
