Review on ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Garmin Nuvi 205W - 4.3-Inch Portable GPS Navigator with Widescreen by Todd Cobb

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great entry level GPS

I bought my Garmin nuvi 205w a few months ago when I moved to a new city. Since I was notoriously averse to getting lost, I figured it was best to invest in something that at least reached the nearest interstate. And honestly, that was pretty much the only requirement for my GPS. I chose Garmin because I've had experience with them in the past and the ones I've used before have been fairly reliable. I think a certain amount of common sense is required with any GPS but for the most part the Garmin was my favorite in terms of the instructions given. I also love that I can search for restaurants broken down into categories like "Asian" and "Mexican." TomTom didn't offer that. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but if you're in a foreign city and REALLY want Chinese food, being able to ONLY go to Asian restaurants is a huge plus. And the fact that Garmin gives you the restaurant's phone number is another nice perk. For what it is, the Garmin nuvi 205w is great. This is an inexpensive GPS with a good entry-level price. No, there is no Bluetooth support here. There is no fancy answering machine. It's just a GPS navigator to get you from point A to point B and for me it did a very good job which is why I gave it 5 stars.
