I bought this light to replace the original bathroom light in my camper van. I figured two colors of light and the ability to dim the light was just what I wanted. However, the original fixture is powered by a wall switch. The new light (this one is under consideration) has its own switch which was not compatible with the wall switch - if I turn the light off with the wall switch and then turn the switch back on the light should still be on in that position. /off turns on the new light. I should have paid more attention to this when purchasing his product. HOWEVER - THE LIGHT ITSELF IS AMAZING! I liked the two colors and the dimming function.
