So when I first received this film I was convinced that there was no way to remove the protective layer from it, or that it just didn't exist. Then I saw in other ads that you can lift it up with tape and it finally worked. After that, the installation was very easy. Now the only thing that bothers me a little is that this window film isn't always "golden" like it says in the listing. It depends on the time of day or what angle the light falls on it. In my photo, as you can see, one window appears more golden in the evening and the other "whiter". And most of the day it's almost always white light. Only in the evening will I see how a little gold shines inside. I will say that at night when I look outside, it is very golden, shiny and beautiful. Of course, the lamp next to that window uses an antique bulb, so maybe that helps. Unfortunately, this effect is wasted if I don't try to break into my own house at night and look outside. It still works, just wish there was more gold all the time.
