Review on Smittybilt 2781 5 65 Universal Compressor by Andrew Holman

Out of the box it's heavy and seems solid, then plug it into a car battery and try pumping up a tire, it's noisy and slow, the included pressure gauge is not exactly, about 10psi inches and the compressor will heat up very quickly. Hose fittings are not the standard fittings you would expect from a compressor you buy at the supermarket, so forget about using a different hose or air canister. If you don't want to try and redesign this thing to use the stock quick disconnect, you can use a better hose and chuck. I'll keep it working until it blows and spend more money on a better product next time. It doesn't impress me!
