These were originally bought as a lightweight pair to carry on long bike trips just in case a pedal were to break (something I have experienced with RaceFace Chesters twice). I got a new bike and ordered new pedals but the bike arrived before the pedals so these got put on "to get me by.” Well… that was hundreds of miles ago and they Chesters still sit in their package because these weigh less and feel better to me. I will be buying and recommending these pedals to all the owners of mountain bikes I work on moving forward.
