Now that kids are homeschooled, we needed to find new ways to entertain, but also educate them. It was just what we needed as he was teaching science and the kids were very interested in space and looking at things in a distant universe. It comes with a 10mm eyepiece that can magnify up to 40x. In addition, it comes with a 25mm eyepiece that offers 16x magnification. Assembly was easy and I didn't need any tools. Everything just rolls up including the tripod which is very strong and easy to adjust to the angle you want. Its height is adjustable from 24 inches to 50 inches, so it can accommodate children of different heights and even my own. It also came with a phone holder that connected my phone to so we could take photos of the items found. When not in use, it includes a nice carrying case into which the telescope and attachments can be easily folded back.
