Review on Philips 272E1CA Frameless Adaptive Sync Replacement Monitor: πŸ–₯️ Full HD, Tilt Adjustment, Built-In Speakers, Curved LED Display by Phil Gardner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Philips 328E1CA 32 is a great monitor!

So I went through all the specs of about 10 32" monitors to replace my old 27" Dell monitor. I chose Philips because: 1. 4 year warranty, no need for an extension.2. It has incredible stats; even twice as expensive. The roundup on PC monitors was great.4. Curved to facilitate far left and right viewing.5. VESA 100 arm mount on a table6. The built-in speakers did not disappoint. They were packed very well. When I opened the box, I saw the test and calibration results, as well as detailed final calibration data. It was a surprise. I have not seen calibration information on any monitor I have purchased. The built in star was easy to remove and the same screws that hold the stand can be reused to attach the VESA 100 mount. I plugged it in and plugged in the cable. to DisplayPort on the back. The monitor detected an active single input and switched automatically. My MacPro 2013 recognized the resolution immediately and gave me options for native resolution or scaling. Let's get that out of the way first. He is tall. I didn't know it would be this big. Large screen compared to my 27 inch 2560x1440 monitor. I went through the testing and calibration procedures on the Lagom Nl website. Google "Lagom nl LCD test". This is why I used the Native color temperature, as it produces the best colors for photos. Regarding brightness: This monitor is quite bright. Too bright at 100. I set it to "68" after calibration. After calibrating, I set the contrast to "44". The sharpness is set to "50" and I left "gamma" alone. The speakers are better than what you'll find in a computer and are "good enough" for conference calling and general use. , this is a great monitor for my use; protography, multimedia, coding, etc.
