Review on πŸ“š Augmented Reality Education with MERGE Cube by Rob Madden

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good price! Great for kids!

I got it for my son and daughter-in-law and we tried everything. For the boys, the beginning was easier. There is a good short tutorial that young people can intuitively understand. So the installation is pretty easy. It's the size of a Rubik's Cube and looks like a stress ball. Hold it with the flat surface facing the phone - it has no corners. My sister-in-law recommends it to school-age children who know how to use a phone. There are some nice apps designed for kids, including educational apps about the brain and body, as well as creative apps for doing things like DIG. We've tried many of Merge Cube's free apps and they're good for getting into the augmented reality aspect, but most of them aren't games. However, the Piranha and Star Fighter games in the Things app are cute. We also have Merge VR glasses, and we most enjoyed wearing the glasses with a phone, not just a phone. Less coordination required. We've tried it with the iPhone SE, OnePlus 3, LG G4 (which may have lagged, don't know why) and the iPhone 6. The SE is small for glasses, so obviously it doesn't work. All other phones worked with glasses.
