No problem here. Two things to know: 1. Any 5.5 inch dome allows heat to build up inside the dome due to the limited area around the bulb. So never use anything over 50-60W in a 5.5 inch dome no matter what the packaging says. Use an 8.5" dome or larger if you need more power.2. The copper contact on the base of the cartridge can bend when the bulb is screwed in all the way. This can cause intermittent contact and power surges in any dome, not just this one. Disconnect the dome, wait for it to cool, remove the bulb (make sure the dome is off), then gently pry up the tab with a screwdriver, chopstick, or whatever. Then carefully screw in the bulb and stop before it falls to the ground.
