I'm mainly writing this review to emphasize that. I've searched and searched and couldn't find out what make or model of Gigabit Ethernet chipset is in this hub. So I took the shot in the dark and ordered it anyway as the specs looked great otherwise. Well, to my surprise, it includes an ASIX AX88179 controller, which is excellent for having the ability to tag at least one VLAN. Your network and IT lovers will understand. The SD + Micro SD slots are a great feature. No more SD to Micro SD adapter required! 100W USB PD is good. Chromebook charging has been tested and works great at 45W. I don't currently have anything that can draw >45W to do a real test at higher speeds. I don't really like Type C pigtail for host. I really wish it was just a standard Type-C connector for using a short cable. Oh, I can live with that.
