We recently moved into a new house and the air conditioning is terrible. So let's make lots of ice cream! We've tried silicone ice cube trays, fancy trays with silicone bases, unusual shapes, and the whole gamut. I remembered as a kid we had standard ice buckets, exactly the same, lots of fiddling. After using it for a few weeks, I'm happy to report that no one else has to try to reinvent the ice tray. These work great. Will it crack/break after a year or so? Probably. But they're not expensive enough to worry about, and other brands will NOT outlive them.
