Got this just in time for Thanksgiving. I tested this together with my ThermoPro Instant Read. So far it's been great! When I first turn it on it reads the ambient temperature in my house, according to the ThermoPro and my house thermostat. It measures hot and cold liquids as quickly and accurately as the ThermoPro. Also, it feels solid in my hand, I had a couple of instant reads that felt cheap and ended up failing. I'll update in a few months but for now I don't think my opinion will change.
