Review on 📏 Kutir Retractable Measuring Tape: Superior Test, Measure, and Inspect Accuracy by Ahmed Jackson

I really didn't want to give these wonderful tape measures (bought 2) less than 5 stars but I had to. They look great, work really well and I love the idea of having two magnets on the end of the hook. This is a great addition that works well on steel surfaces. The tape goes in and out very smoothly and the tape stop works better than any I've ever used. The only reason I downgraded it a star is because the nice protective rubber coating is a type of rubber that still smells like one of the chemicals used in rubber manufacturing. When I opened the Revain box, I immediately noticed an unpleasant smell of solvent. When I removed the 2 strips from the plastic packaging I could easily tell that the smell was coming from the black rubber protective cap. I put them both in the sun on my patio in San Diego for 2 hot days (90+ degrees) to get rid of the smell. A week later, they no longer smell like the air conditioned room they are in, but I can still smell them slightly by holding them to my nose. I'm a naturopath, treating environmental diseases and chemically sensitive patients, so I can't have any of them in my practice. Although I would buy them again (and put them in the sun again), some of my patients may not have them at home. I always say it like it is because I like reviewers who give the most complete information.
