I bought 5 different meat thermometers to compare. That was the best. It is turned on and off by simply opening and closing the probe, which is very convenient. Magnets keep it conveniently on the fridge. The temperature measurement takes only 2-3 seconds. it can be easily calibrated. Fill blender with ice cubes and cold water. Turn on the mixer until you get a thick slurry. It's exactly 32Β°F. Use the function explained to calibrate up or down the required tenths of a degree to adjust and save the temperature. Check the temperature again to make sure it reads exactly 32Β°. Adjust again if it's still not quite right.
