I had this top notch winch for about three months before I couldn't tow an 800 lb mower onto a trailer. Estimated at £8,000 it should have been a no-brainer. Warn's customer service was very lacking, but luckily I was able to avoid the $200.00 shipping cost by taking it directly to Warn's repair center, of which there are only six in the US. The repair center is very dodgy and after throwing it away I wasn't offered any paperwork. The workers didn't even seem to know what to do with this winch. After my top winch was there for about two weeks I called and was told they hadn't had a chance to look at it yet. No matter how long the repair takes, whether they honor the warranty, I still had to take it off, drive it for over an hour and have to reinstall it in a few months when they get around to it. My confidence is clearly lost.
