To be honest, I'm not a pro at reading litmus tests, but I know the Erlenmeyer flask from a measuring cylinder. In other words, I'm comfortable in a lab environment. This litmus test obviously gave me bad results where I didn't even have to be too precise, just within 1 pH of my target acid. I bought a digital pH meter with calibration bags and mixed pH 4.01 with a carefully measured amount of distilled water. The pictures show that when I tested the litmus paper in a known pH solution, it showed 1 pH more than it should, at least in my opinion. It's too imprecise for my needs and I wouldn't trust the results of a high school science fair project. I gave it a few stars because at least it is able to distinguish acid from base no matter what it takes. Won't buy it again.
