Needed to remove old, hardened wood resin from a grand piano. The sap is very hard, brittle and cannot stick to the paint. Used common car cleaners and solvents but to no avail. The clay bar was just as useless. Applying the composition with an orbital polisher gave results, but it went through a transparent layer before removing all residue. Autoscrub is described as ideal for such applications. Using it with the recommended Glide fluid initially worked well. The abrasive cutting action was felt and a haze appeared on the clear coat as expected for this abrasive. Within 5 minutes there was absolutely no cutting action. I rinsed out the pad, thinking the abrasive was clogged. Didn't bring any improvements. Autoscrub might work for some non-essential applications, but for me it was a waste of money and time.
