Review on KYB 565045 MonoMax Gas Shock by Michael Briggs

I installed them on the 2000 limit yesterday and am very happy with them. The old shocks were loose, springy and allowed the truck to sag too easily. These dampers are significantly stiffer, which improves ride and handling on sidewalks and absorbs the impact of washboards and potholes on logging roads very well. I installed them manually with no problems. Again, they're very stiff, but they were easy to compress by going through the back of the forearm rather than the wheel arch. After installing it on the bracket, I wedged it under the shock with a short screwdriver and pryed it up to insert the bottom bolt.
