This product might be the best $40 product I've ever spent on Revain. It heats up to the set temperature in 20 seconds, which is lightning fast compared to any other curling iron or straightener I've owned. The controls are in a bad place (I can't help but press them when using it) BUT the unique locking switch, which keeps the iron closed when not in use, prevents accidental button presses from changing the settings during use change usage. I've tried curling irons and am a stickler for the standard curling iron, but this unique flat iron shape makes it easy to get long-lasting, bouncy curls with very little practice. I can't say enough for this product! I just received it so I hope it lasts a long time but for now it would get 10 stars if I could rate that much! A real bang for your buck compared to more expensive irons on the market. Also, I have damaged hair (a lot of bleaching and discoloration) so using heat devices can be risky as they do more damage. This is the only iron I've ever had success with without setting it to the highest heat. Even at the lowest temperature it frizzes my hair which is really amazing!
