The machine worked exactly as advertised. I was able to digitize all my old negatives and slides, which has been a dream of mine for many years. The instruction booklet was a bit sparse, but eventually, through trial and error, I was able to transfer the slides and negatives. At first I found it a bit tedious to only be able to transfer three slides or five negatives. But once I got into the routine and used the editing process as a breather, I was able to transfer the articles straight away. The hardest part was the constant cleaning of the converter screen because my slides were very dirty. Again, this feature isn't well described in the brochure and it took some trial and error to get it right. I was able to go through 3,000 slides and loads of negatives and sort out the bad ones. There were a lot of them. Again, this worked great!
