I've tried different brands of discs (like Black & Decker, 3M and Diablo) and found there's always a compromise. Grinding wheels are either unreasonably expensive or have one or more problems, such as being addictive. on a splinter, or they just don't last very long. I have ordered a box of 50 Dura-Gold discs in 80 and 120 grit and while they are certainly not of the highest quality I think you will be in a difficult position to find the best value for your money. The abrasive sticks well to the paper (I didn't have a single grit left on the work piece), the velcro is strong, the paper is strong and tear resistant, durable. for quite a long time. 32 cents per drive is a better price than anything I've ever bought at a hardware store, and they offer the performance and durability you'd expect from much more expensive drives.
