Waste of money. Constantly in traffic where instant on isn't a factor, this thing won't see anything until I'm directly over the source, and then it'll bind at full power. Other times it doesn't recognize anything until I pass the source. The companion phone app eats up a TON of battery life and often won't connect, leaving the detector barking at me for exceeding the speed limit when it can't get the speed limit from the app. I hate this item and would like to return it but I threw away the packaging.
